When you book a wedding at Rio Bella, you rent the entire property for the weekend. Your guests are not sharing the resort with strangers. It is your private Hill Country retreat from Friday to Sunday.

Riverside Ceremony Space

Exchange vows with the Frio River as your backdrop and ancient cypress trees overhead. Our 25,000+ sq. ft. river park provides a breathtaking natural setting for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions.

On-Site Cabin Accommodations

Think of it like a hotel block, right on the property. Guests book their own cabin stay for the weekend through Rio Bella, or the couple can arrange accommodations for them. Either way, everyone is steps from each other and the river.

The Rio Grande River House

At 2,800 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms and multiple gathering spaces, the River House is ideal for bridal prep, rehearsal dinners, and late-night celebrations. If the weather has other plans, the Rio Grande River House serves as our built-in rainy day option. Tent rentals are also available through our preferred vendors, and setup and breakdown are not included.

Completely DIY Friendly

Rio Bella is a do-it-yourself venue. Bring your vision and the vendors that fit your day. We provide the setting, tables, and chairs. Setup and breakdown are not included. Our team will be on-site to direct vendors, and upon booking we'll share our curated list of preferred local vendors if you'd like a head start.

+Up to 100 overnight guests on-site across 13 cabins
+We can accommodate up to 250 total wedding guests. For larger parties, please contact us to discuss options
+Guests book and pay for their own cabin stay, just like a hotel block
+Couples may choose to cover cabin costs for their guests
+The entire property is reserved exclusively for your wedding weekend
+Overflow accommodations available less than a mile down the road

Day-of Timeline

+Check-in begins at 4:00 pm
+River park and outdoor spaces available dawn to 10:30 pm
+At 10:30 pm, all guests must move from the river park to the Rio Grande River House to continue the celebration
+Check-out is 11:00 am on departure day

Requirements

+A professional wedding coordinator is required. This must be a licensed or professional coordinator, not a friend or family member
+The full property must be rented for the weekend
+No fireworks on the property
+Sparklers may be permitted based on drought and county fire-ban conditions
+All standard Rio Bella policies apply
